Instructions for Abstract Preparation

Please read the instructions carefully before starting your abstract submission. The abstract should be written in clear, concise English and must provide an interesting summary of the research. All abstracts must be submitted electronically in English. No paper submissions will be accepted. Abstracts not prepared correctly will not be considered for review.

1. Language & Formatting

Abstract must be typed and presented in English and Font style as Times New Roman.

2. Word Limit

The abstract must be written within 500 words (excluding title, author names, affiliations, citation and references).

3. Abstract Structure

Original Paper Abstract

  • Title: The title must be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS except scientific names.
  • Keywords
  • Author’s Detail: The presenting author’s name must be underlined and in CAPITAL letters.
  • Affiliations: The presenting author’s affiliation must be underlined and should include all co-author affiliations.
  • Authors Details: Phone Number and Email ID
  • Introduction
  • Objectives: State the main objective of the study.
  • Materials and Methods: Briefly describe the study design and methodology.
  • Results: Present the main results with appropriate statistics.
  • Conclusion: Limit conclusions to those directly supported by results.
  • Reference with Citation
  • If any images are provided/mentioned, citations are mandatory.
  • If any tables are provided/mentioned, citations are mandatory.
  • Do not mention your hospital or institute name anywhere in the abstract body.

Case Report / Study

4. Conference Registration

Presenting authors must register for the conference.

5. Abbreviations & Acronyms

Abbreviations and acronyms should be defined at initial usage, excluding those for units of measurement and well-known abbreviations.

6. Website Template Usage

Please utilise the website’s template to assist in creating an abstract for Original Paper and Case Report submission.

7. Originality, Ethics & Copyright

The originality of the research, abstract, and posters must be guaranteed by the authors. Authors are responsible for ensuring all photographs, data, and research have obtained proper ethical and regulatory approvals wherever applicable.

8. Important Deadlines

  • Last Date for Abstract Submission: 31st October 2026
  • Acceptance/Rejection Notification: 15th December 2026
  • Final Presentation Specifications: 31st December 2026
  • No abstracts will be accepted after 31st October 2026.

9. Publication

All selected original research papers will be considered for awards and publication in IJCCM.

All selected case studies/reports will be published in IJCCR.

10. Confirmation & Contact

Abstract submitters will receive an email confirmation immediately after submission.

11. Review Process

Submitted abstracts will be examined anonymously by the CRITICARE 2027 Abstract Committee.

13. Important Notes

  • Submission of an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the author to present the abstract.
  • Failure to present may lead to rejection of future submissions at ISCCM-CRITICARE events.
  • Authors are solely responsible for spelling and grammar accuracy.
  • CRITICARE reserves the right to publish abstracts in IJCCM Journal.
  • Submission certifies that the abstract has not been presented or published elsewhere.
